About Me
I have been teaching third grade at Vintage for fourteen years. Prior to that, I took an early retirement from a corporate retail setting. My job was to train market personnel on retail computer systems. I had always wanted to be a teacher, but could not afford to take a pay cut to become one until 2000, when I finally jumped in with both feet. I possess a Bachelor of Science, Degree with an education emphasis from CSUN, with a Liberal Arts minor. When I decided to take up a second career in education, I took the MSAT, then went into a credential program. I hold a California Multiple Subject Credential, that I obtained in 2000.
I have been married for 28 years, and have a 17 year old daughter who attends El Camino Real High School.
I am in the career of education because I want to be. I enjoy enlightening young minds and hopefully contributing to positive societal changes that come through education. I continually strive to increase my knowledge base and learn more strategies both personally and professionally.
